Throughout the week of Sunday, May 13, 2012, the contractor will continue daytime construction activities and signalization upgrades along US 98 from Brooks Street toward Edgewood Drive. Weather permitting, this work is scheduled for several weeks and will have no impacts to traffic. During the week of Sunday, May 13, 2012, the contractor is scheduled to shift traffic onto the newly constructed southbound travel lanes from S. Combee Road to Edgewood Drive. Weather permitting, this traffic switch will remain in effect for several months. In addition, during the week of Sunday, May 13, 2012, between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., the contractor is scheduled to perform placement of pavement markings on the northbound lanes of US 98 from S. Combee Road toward Edgewood Drive. These construction activities will require a temporary lane closure on US 98 and weather permitting is anticipated to be completed in one week.
