US 98 from Brooks Street to East Edgewood Drive
Construction on US 98 from US 98 from Brooks Street to East Edgewood Drive began in July 2011. This project is anticipated to be complete in fall 2012. To view a copy of the project fact sheet click here.
The improvements included in this project consist of:
The improvements included in this project consist of:
- Widening US 98 to six lanes
- Removal of old asphalt (milling)
- Resurfacing the roadway
- Drainage improvements
- Street lighting
- Sidewalk construction
- Traffic signals
- Bike lanes
- Pavement markings
Night Work:
Night work will take place to perform any roadway construction activity that requires a lane closure.
Lane Closures:
There will be no lane closures permitted between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Speed Limit:
Speed limits will not be reduced during construction.
